College options - what is right for you and your career choice?

This article was shared by a fellow Transition Coordinator for the Troy Public School District.
The article is from the Detroit Free Press and it highlights alternatives to a four year degree.  There is also a link to a video that is entitled  “Success in the New Economy”, which talks about preparation today for tomorrow’s labor market realities. This video is also located on the OSTC website (www.ostconline.com).   While a four year degree and beyond is still a very appropriate choice for many students, it is worth exploring other options based upon your interest, career choice and abilities.
